Perth’s once-in-a-decade big storm has cleared off and taken what little summer remained. It’s winds however, have decided to stay..
Most things in the garden seem to have survived. Paddy and I were particularly happy to see that the snow peas and french beans have survived. We planted them a little early, but they should grow well in the cooler temperatures we’re now experiencing.
We’ve decided to take down the hessian cloths covering the seedlings but while we were at it we thought the hessian might make good windbreaks. So paddy and I pinned the bigger sun shades vertically so that they slow the wind a bit when it races through Paddy’s Garden.
