It’s spring in Perth and more and more sun is starting to splash down in Paddy’s Garden.
Paddy has planted several cucumber and bean seedlings he’s been germinating on the window sil.
We’ve changed the soil for the beans to a mix we built from potting mix and mushroom compost.
Beens don’t usually like high nitrogen content in the soil so we’re trying to keep it low by omitting heavy fertilizers.
Paddy’s brussels sprouts are growing so slowly, if they don”t hurry up and grow they will be fried on the bush by the Western Australian sun.
I like to party, not look articles up online. You made it hpaepn.
This info is the cat’s pjaamas!
I would like to start an urban community gaedrn in the yard of a house on Bon Air Ave by Bowman Field. The yard and house are in need of cleaning and repair and some large trees need to be timmed back to allow more sunlight into the yard. I would like to see the house occupied by a steward who is interested in organic gaedrning, sustainable agriculture and/or perma-culture.thanks.-dave
